Before making her first apperance in the WWE in 2006, Layla was known for many things; acting, dancing in music videos, but most of all, dancing for the Miami Heat for two years. After sucessfully winning the Diva Search Layla spent some time on SD feuding with Kristal and Jillian but was moved to ECW in January. After preforming with Extreme Expose for months, the girls became divided when they joined the Miz. Kelly didn't like Miz's attitude towards Balls, but Layla took part in the taunting. When Kelly joined Balls instead of Miz, Layla turned mean, and is now out to get her ex-friend.

As part of the Read Across America initiative, MVP and Layla, both of whom will be spokespeople for WWE's WrestleMania 25 Reading Challenge, along with Mr. Kennedy, Matt Hardy and Mark Henry, read student-selected books in front of Mrs. Perry's, Mr. Brown's and Mrs. White’s fifth grade classes. Students also got the opportunity to interact with MVP and Layla. In each class, a student was chosen to read passages with the Superstar and Diva. Hart, however, was given special attention.

Recap: Backstage we see Layla, Vickie, and the rest of the divas. Vickie said she's creating a Divas Championship and that the girls will compete in a golden dreams match up to determine the first contender. The way to win is to climb the pole and grab the star. During the match Layla and Michelle battled it out a lot but it was Natayla that climbed the poll to win.

Kelly bitchingly tells Layla to "mind her own business" This was the beginning of the break up of EE. We orginally thought Kelly was going to go heel but that didn't happen.
